Social Sustainability

For the resources sector, the implementation of a comprehensive social sustainability program affords businesses the social license to operate and to make a considered impact on the surrounding communities. This also rings true for infrastructure development projects, which, without the cooperation of the communities they affect, would not be able to do their work unhindered. It is pivotal that businesses in the resources and construction sectors are aware of their social footprint so that they can operate without facing unnecessary hurdles.

When the correct guidance is not followed, companies are at risk of forfeiting their social and legal licenses to operate and generating conflict with other stakeholders and associated communities.

Our experience has given us the opportunity to understand these risks at the most intimate level. We will work with you, informed by best practices, to ensure you conduct business in a socially sustainable manner that allows for maximum positive impact for all stakeholders.
